Our approach is grounded in the knowledge that honoring the unique lived experiences of those we work with is fundamental to their success.
We recognize the whole human being, whose gifts are often overlooked by traditional service providers and that they have tremendous ability to tap into their experiences as a source of resilience, creativity, and innovation.
We use a trauma-informed approach that recognizes and honors our participants’ emotional scars and wisdom, and a social justice framework to promote diversity, equity, and unity.
Our approach, organizational policies, and practices aim to engender full equitable participation in the economy and beyond for our participants.
Core Services
Employment & Entrepreneurship
We support social ventures entirely devoted to serving the needs of the community through fiscal sponsorship. As a fiscally-sponsored programs of Haven of Hope, they are able to access grants and donation through our nonprofit tax exempt status.
Research & Public Policy
We help our diverse client roster of financial institutions, small businesses, nonprofit organizations, universities, and corporations center on the experiences and needs of their constituents through Community-Based Participatory Action Research and innovative data science.
